When DJ and Producer Gilberto Caleffi hit us up a few years back with his Badge And Talkalot album Spaghetti Blaster we found his style eclectic and unique, grabbing a bit of vintage groove and tweaking it for the dance floor of the day with some pointed social commentary in the mix. And now, Gilberto is back with an even more direct statement on life: reflecting on inner feelings and the outside world, social situations and racism, hurt and loss. Titled Fragments Of The Soul, the album covers events you can't control that can shatter your soul - which as of today we are ALL quite familiar with. Gilberto grapples with the need to overcome bad things, to move on and evolve, to pick up the pieces and put them together again.
